Hi Rimbim, great to hear from you. Yes, I think you're spot on with the names, but my recollections are getting a bit hazy; return visits to AD don't help as everything has changed so much. Struggled to find my old flat right in the middle of Hamdan Street, or the Aust. Embassy where I worked in Tourist Club - new roads everywhere. See Iain's comments below regarding the eventual fate of the MH3 hut. Should try to catch up with some of you guys next time I'm in UK.

Hi - I was Hash Scribe '83-'84, RimBim John C. I remember the building of the hut and I think that the guy lying down with a beard is John Palmer, then there's Squirrell and is it Tina Millar in yellow? I
The couple with the coldbox were good.

Awesome! I ran with Dubai HHH in 1990, but lived in Abu Dhabi until 1985. Went to Choueifat school at the time. Did I know any of you?

Hi Iain,

Great to hear from you - any other ex-MH3 out there? I never knew the fate of the hut, I left AD probably not long afterwards (in September 1985). Was it you that asked me about looking up share prices when I turned up one day with an Aussie newspaper?

Cheers, Philip

Phil , Great to see your photographs . I remember you well from MH3 . I'm the guy in the white shirt and the sun hat , sitting next to me is Tom Buchanan . I remember the names of about half of the Hashers shown in your print . The hut was burnt down by the Hash within a year or so of this photo because it was being monopolised by an Arab and his family every Friday morning . General Sheikh Moh'd now has the whole place to himself and there are barriers across the road leading up to his palace . Jeez Wow .
