Images from a brief press trip in 1998, plus subsequent short stopovers in Abu Dhabi, where I lived and worked in 1983-85. As ever, the streetscape was turned upside-down by never-ending roadworks and very litle was readily recognisable. See also my separate gallery from the Heritage Village.
