The fifth is a crop of #4 in a series of photographs taken 0.3 seconds apart as the Washington State Ferry Cathlamet takes a huge wave over the bow during the first big windstorm of fall. This unique sequence was shot as I struggled against the blowing sand, salt water, and wind.
