My name is Tom Prestby and I am a graduate of University of Wisconsin-Madison with at degree in Wildlife Ecology. I enjoy being outdoors, especially birding. In the last couple of years I have taken up photography as a hobby as well. I used the common method of digiscoping by simply shooting a Nikon Coolpix 4500 through a Swarovski 80 HD Spotting Scope until October 2009 when I converted to using a Canon 40D and 300mm lens with a 1.4x teleconverter.
