Let the powder stay on the turmeric stain affected area for 20 minutes and dip it in a bucket full of water using detergent powder, soap or gel. Use a toothbrush to scrub the area and then rinse the clothing in cold water.

  • To remove turmeric stains from clothes, you can also dab the affected area with tissue paper soaked in vinegar until it fades away.

  • Then take some lemon juice or vinegar and pour it over the mixture on the floor to dampen it and start scrubbing it with a dish scrubber.  

  • Lastly, rinse the area with a solution of equal parts water and white vinegar. 


How to remove turmeric stains from the wall



  • Mix the following ingredients in a cup: One tablespoon of gel dish detergent, one tablespoon of alcohol and one tablespoon of glycerin.

  • With the help of a brush, smear or moisten (without dripping) the stained area of ​​the wall. 

  • Then take a sponge and gently rub the area so as not to remove the paint and leave it for 5 minutes. 

  • Then pick up the same process with a clean damp towel.
