With all the coverage of the 9/11 10-year anniversary going on in the background, I at one point noticed a spider on a web in a little nook just off my deck.
I grabbed my trusty old Canon EOS 30D and put my Canon 100mm macro lens on it, mounted them on my tripod, but as you will see I needed to scrunch things around to get a good view of the critter.
The good news is that I was able to get close enough to fully frame the critter, the bad news is that it never changed positions so I was only able to get the one "pose" and, because of the way things were jammed together I wasn't able to hook up a flash/flash cable and so was stuck with a slow shutter speed -- I tossed out most of my shots, oh well...
