A study in lens speeds and tradeoffs when photographing a waterfall in dim light above Multnomah Falls, OR in the Columbia River Gorge -- a small waterfall you find by hiking a steep trail to the top of the falls. Slower shutter speed allowed better exposure as well as the "blur" effect of the moving water; however, if I wanted to "freeze" the motion the rest of the scene was underexposed: lightening the shadows in Photoshop shows way too much noise
