More Columbia River Planes, Cars, and Birds: May 7 08

Another fair weather day, back to the river and the airfield, for more practice -- this time starting my panning shutter speed at 1/125", then lowering it to 1/80" and 1/60" to get more of a "motion effect", especially with my cars.

But, I would get distracted by flying birds and, best of all, Oregon National Guard figter jets zooming by! I had to quickly try to go to a faster shutter speed, usually failing until I got the hang of it!
