| Paid | $350 | History / Provenance | Purchased on eBay. The design is a bird form in the Hopi style circa 1960--maybe a Rufous hummingbird. There is a nearly identical piece in a Santa Fe gallery here for $1,850. This one is a bit smaller (9.25" vs 10") and the bottom has plain slip with distinct fire clouds, his bowl has the bottom covered in deep red. |
