Foggy View from our Castle Room

Oberwesel, Germany

to part of the town Oberwesel with the Saint Martin Parish Church.
The origins of the church goes back to the Frankish era (from the 2nd century AD onwards).
Originally built as a defense tower, the mighty bell tower dominates the townscape.

An attractive village nestled in to its landscape. Interesting and a little surprising to see the crop mostly planted across rather than with the contours.
