The 1936-1939 Mercedes-Benz 540K was the more powerful successor to the 500K.
It featured a bored out 5401cc straight-8 with 115-horsepower or 180-hp (with the Kompressor engaged).
Top speed was now 170 km/h (106 mph). A total of 419 were built.
Still a beautiful car, despite the color scheme not stopping you dead in your tracks like the red 500K.
