The long Winter brought this new visitor to our garden.
There are still some apples on the ground under the leaves of the apple trees,
and the bird discovered it as a good food source.

The Fieldfare is a member of the thrush family Turdidae. It breeds in woodland and scrub
in northern Europe and Asia. It is strongly migratory, with many northern birds moving
