"NOW THAT I'M ALMOST EIGHT ..."

... a note from 'The Duke' (my 7 yr old grandson Lucas) to his parents. Note that he feels he needs more responsibility now that he's almost 8.

Alas, his plea fell on deaf ears and he still is without an orange turtle. C'est la vie ...

He is ready to take on and carry out the responsibility, he deserves to have a turtle. So Mom and Dad, what are you waiting for.

Oh, I think somebody's grandfather needs to buy a turtle with orange feet. :)

Love it! How will Mom and Dad know until they give him a chance! Better a turtle than a dog! Help the Duke out - Tell his parents that polling in the peanut gallery indicates a favorable response that he should have a turtle! Thanks for the giggle!
