This car is still owned by the original buyer. After WWII, the owner got a job at the Ford assembly plant in Chicago. In 1948, Ford gave 30 employees a chance to buy a new Ford and to follow it through the assembly line. This car was delivered on November 13, 1948. You can see the purchase price on the window sticker (next photo) ... sale price, included radio, heater and tires. Note that overdrive was an option and cost an additional $92, thus bringing the total sale price to $1832.00.
