This particular tank, built in the Soviet Union and supplied to the North Korean Army, was captured in mid-1950 during the early stages of the Korean War.
The tank is painted in the colors and markings of the North Korean Army's 17th Tank Brigade which was wiped out in battles near Pusan in August of 1950.
