M1A1 Abrams Main Battle Tank (120 mm gun)

This tank is painted in the colors used during the invasion of Bagdhad (Operation Iraqi Freedom. The commander of this tank was LT Robert Ball, Co A, Task Force I-64 Armor.

This type of tank was named after General Creighton W. Abrams who commanded all US Forces during a portion of the Vietnam War. Abrams, as a Lt Col, also spearheaded armor actions during the Battle of the Bulge during WWII.
