This is a fresh bloom opening on the agapanthus in our back yard.
I love the way these look, and I'm drawn to photograph this plant through out the year.
In the winter it's nothing but a spindly bristle, all dried up... but it looks like a star burst.
I took this shot as a precaution in case I wasn't happy with what I got
when I tried to take a photo of tonight's "Super Moon"...
