This is the roof line of an old service building at the Bakersfield Airport.
There were once a number of small buildings at this site in this Spanish style, all dating from the early days of the airport... I think from the 1920's.
When I was much younger, I was a cadet in the Civil Air Patrol and met regularly in those buildings, only yards from here.
All those buildings are now gone and this is the last one that remains.

At least it's still there. The old control tower dating from 1955 was recently demolished at London-Heathrow. Such a landmark for this former plane-spotter. Of course, I never took a photo of it :-(
