New England Dragonflies

Most of these pictures are natural poses. The few shots at the end of hand held odes are ones I couldn't get to pose well. These odes were seen in Massachusetts and northern New Hampshire mostly.

I have a great picture of an Anax imperator that landed on our boat in Rhode island. Is that a rare sighting?

Wonderful gallery! I'm trying to learn some of the New England dragonflies, and this will be a useful resource. I have a few dragonfly photos but haven't posted any of them yet.
