Bobcat - Lynx rufus

Groton, Ma. yard

I had been sitting at the edge of the wetland behind the house for an hour and decided to head back to the house. As soon as I got to the top of the ridge near the wetland, I frightened a bobcat that ran for cover and managed a couple of lousy shots. Then a second bobcat came out and calmly walked across an opening and that's when I got these pictures.

Sorry, I should have finished reading! So, maybe you did have some lousy ones but I love this one!

Amazing encounter - my only encounter with a Bobcat was having one run in from of my truck - no, I didn't hit him, but I also had no camera! Nice image - V

WOW! What an experience!! This is such a great shot and of course, a great sighting. It has been years since I've seen a bobcat, but I live in hope of seeing one again. And you saw two!! VV
