11065 - Orange Sallow Moth - Pyrrhia aurantiago

The caterpillar was on a Fern-leaved false Foxglove, where they feed on the seed heads. I'm not sure what the status is in NH, but in Massachusetts this moth is listed as Special Concern.

A really lovely shot of this interesting caterpillar. I can't make out what it is feeding on, but Bug Guide suggests foxgloves and similar. V
