You may have gathered that pictures of animals don’t feature very highly in my galleries, but I really like dogs and one will feature in my master retirement plan. But until then I shall focus my attention and camera on characters like this.
On our way to capture sunset on the edge of Pingvallavatn at Mjoanes a farm at the end of a track, the farmers dog came to greet us and stayed with us for over an hour. If I understood the farmer said his name was Happy in Icelandic translated as Hamingjusamur :-)
