Mesa Arch Sunrise - Canyon Lands National Park

This was the start of a magical day, a day I am sure I will never forget. My son and I arrived just before sunrise and set up postition with two other photogrphers. Apparently if this was in the
summer there could easily be another 10 people there. Anyway much general chat and waiting in eager anticipation until we were greeted with this wonderful scene.

A pity the snow was not fresh and had been trampled by previous photographers, but I can live with that.
