Forth Rail Bridge

A location I have never been to before but always meant to stop, so finally on my way back from Edinburgh attending the Focus on the Environment - http://www.focusenvironment.com/ I finally got there. The weather was supposed to great for a sunrise but it wasn't to be, until 10 minutes after I left and was driving over the Forth Road Bridge the sun broke through -typical! So this always leaves me in a quandry, do I post a picture I am not very happy with or do I wait for another trip - well I posted it. Next time...

It looks pretty good to me, I'd be happy to post it.

Superb POV Chris ... gives the engineering marvel a sense of dominance in the image ... love it! :)

not sure of your quandry..this shot is gripping and edgy...another day you may find a variation, different yet not necessarily better..fabulous work...V

This certainly looks good, well composed and the long exposure giving great depth to the water. There will always be another day.

It was worth the stop - there is a sense of power and elegance - but also, I feel, a sense that this is unfinished business.
