Lighthouse Balnagask iPhone

At a new location I always use my iPhone to mark the location - I get a lot of grief from fellow pbasers smit10pics and mcgarva and rightly so - but I was a little intrigued to see the difference and there certainly is. See next picture. Edited - not using the noise reduction software Neat Image

Yep, there's some pretty heavy noise reduction going on somewhere....the colours are a lot more saturated than the 450D version and the WB is a bit squiffy...much prefer the 'proper' shot :o)) But camera-phones are good for reference, so carry on what you're doing :o)

Looks like neat image has over cooked the smoothing ... but a decent image from a PHONE! ... I prefer the SLR between these 2 shots
