Just back from a few weeks doing all the usual sights 'best of the west' - many pictures to follow.
I think of all the places visited Death Valley left the greatest impression. I have never experienced heat like it. This was taken just before sunset only about 400 yards from the car which half an hour earlier read 116 deg F. As the sun went down the wind got up which made the return journey a little worrying protecting kit - certainly no lens changes!
