The Crannog, the small Iron Age island in Loch Kinord was accessible today as the ice was apparently thick enough. To the right of the island two small specks are a couple of people who seemed to be very happily walking back and forth. Having listened to the news this morning I couldn't quite bring myself (especailly with my increased Christmas girth) to join them.
