Along the old Deeside Railway in a cutting every time we have a good freeze you can rely on the appearance/development of these stalactites type icicles. I had to go back later in the to try and find my polarizer which I had dropped and a lot of them had broken off, partly the thaw and I think some passers by. Next freeze they will be back.
