There always seems to be a great white egret at Waverly pond.
I am not sure if it is the same egret or just a favorite stop over.
It is always difficult to get a close up of this bird. This is
an overhead shot hand held with a 600 mm equivalent lens. The
light filtering through the wings caught my attention,
