I am not sure what these are. I was photographing
a great white egret at Lake Lafayette when I
noticed this unusual flower. The color and texture
were what I found to be very interesting. It was getting
late so I upped the ISO to 800 and it was too far back to
my truck to changes lenses. It is captured with the
200 - 400 Nikon VR.
