Green Dragon (Arisaema dracontium) is a relative of the more-common Jack-in-the-pulpit (Arisaema triphyllum). For Jack-in-the-pulpit the spathe (the pulpit) wraps around and covers the spadix (Jack). For Green Dragon the spathe wraps around the spadix (the dragon's tongue). My photo shows the Spathe and spadix facing left and the stem to the right. The leaf is mostly cut off, but you can see part of another Green Dragon's leaf in the background.

Strange and interesting plant and intriguing photo. What is it (apart from a Green Dragon)?
