My house is a ranch style built on a small hill, so I
have a walkout basement, but the door is only 5 feet high.
It was once a full height, when it was the exit/entry for a single story addition.
A later previous owner, built a bedroom and bath on top of that addition,
which resulted in the door being shortened. Just inside the door, there are 3 concrete
steps down to a large basement room. The insulated door I made (see photo March 1)
is on the inside of this door.
