"White Shirt, Blue Collar"

A Toolmaker/Machinist has always been an artist, craftsman, engineer, mathematician, and sometimes a small business owner. Today, add computer programmer to the mix. They still get their hands dirty.
So, what shirt do they wear?

I actually like the noisy photograph you took with the company camera (under strange lighting circumstances!). It give an industrial feel to these hi-tech gadgets!!

White shirt, blue colaar is the perfect metaphor for this shot.
You can also say "high tech, low profile".
