We had some high seas last week.
Thousands of bluebottles were stranded
on the beach.
I love the artistry of their placement on the sand.

Bad, bad deal, these guys. We bury them deep and mark them here... Great find for photography, but not for stepping on...

I, too, have been stung by these on Florida beaches. They are known as Portuguese man o' war here. You have made a lovely capture of them.

Having been stung on the face by one, l am afraid of these things. That doesn't detract from your excellent photograph, Elaine. Not easy to display them well but you have succeeded very well indeed.
