World War II Memorial

Washington, DC

This is the relatively new World War Two Memorial on the Mall in Washington. There are usually very prominent fountains, but not so in March. All major engagements are listed in this round memorial. Shooting from west to east, the Atlantic campaign is shown. Propped the camera on a sandbag on top of a low wall for this shot.

You have captured this is a quiet reflective mood.
An excellent result

I love your creativity, Michael, both photographically and mechanically.
Well composed image worthy of the emotions it evokes.
