Flying Fox at 12 o'clock

We have been entertained by these
noisey visitors for the last few weeks.
Finally managed to catch one of them.
These are the red variety of flying fox.
Happy Valentine's Day.

This is totally brilliant, Elaine. The detail even to the claws on the feet and the hooks on the wings make this a really exceptional image. The bear-like face and pointed ears show the creature's mammal origins. Bravo
