Pedestrian Bridge

Nashville, TN

An interesting architectural feature in Nashville, this bridge, built for pedestrians, crosses the Cumberland River, and goes to the football stadium.
Another interesting feature is the fact that the curbs are tough to see when the sun is at this angle in late morning. I learned this the "hard" way and there is a scuff on the baseplate of my 5D which proves it...

Love architectural photos, Michael. This is really fascinating. My what a massive
structure for a pedestrian bridge... must be quite a span.

This is truly an elaborate bridge for pedestrians.
Hope your camera was not damaged! Well taken Michael.

That looks like very hard clear light, and I can see how the brightness would make for trip hazards.

Very interesting shot and great narrative, Michael.
Like the inclusion of people to give the bridge scale.
Sorry you had a mishap.
Take care.
