Native Minah in Pink Flowers

I know I have posted a photograph of
one of these birds before. However, this
shot was taken in the Royal Botanic Gardens in
Sydney. I had not realised that these were nectar
eating birds until I witnessed this.

A very fine shot Elaine of a bird l've never seen.
Only the "bad" lndian minahs around here.
A very powerful beak for a nectar feeder.

Thanks so much for your kind comments, Andrea and Peter.
I was lucky the bird was where it was when came upon it.
Have a wonderful Christmas.

an image to make you smile, love the bright colours. Makes our birds look dull by comparison.

A beautiful combo of bird and flower - good to have the bird posing so well
