The Things We Do for the Craft

Sorry it has been a few days. Have had 5 writing assignments and huge amounts of reading for seminary. Shot them, just didn't look at them.
Franking TN hired me to image their new police headquarters, now that they have the lettering in place. This building is two blocks long, and is quite the challenge to get a quality image of. Photo credit here goes to Sherri. This is what I needed to do to get a level and relatively non-distorted view of the building. We will show the building next...

Pete: Yes, that's me, about 30 feet up a little later. The building shot coming today...

Nice work - so you are up in the tower using it as a view platform?
Good idea

Very impressive Michael. lt sure beats
carrying a tripod around.

Dear Michael,
I like the way you have framed the building with the ladder.
The colour of the red fire engine adds drama to the shot,
where as the bloke with the can in his hand casually walking along
gives a casual, devil-may-care quality to this shot.
Good work. Looking forward to more.
