A first attempt at photographing star trails. There were some lessons learned and when the weather warms up I will make a more serious attempt. This one is composed of 43, 30 second exposures.

FujiFilm X-E1
30s f/3.2 at 14.0mm iso1000 full exif

other sizes: small medium large auto

Very good for a first attempt. it's a project I'd like to try, but living around here we get a lot of light pollution.

Super timed exposure of the stars and that old boat is a great addition...

Great job! I can't wait to see more. I love the old boat used to anchor your composition.

I have never tried this before. It looks really good. The boat gives more interest to the scene too.
Keen to see more shots like this as the weather warms up

Nice for the first try and the boat adds much to the overall image.
