Kentdale Valley

Just back from a week in the English Lake District, as usual it rained every day as it does, but this was the best day, we walked to the head of the valley and it was glorious!

Beautiful scenic, and I like the way you use the branches as a frame...

Tony, you framed this so eloquently and the roadway leads my eye all the through the scene. Nice job!

Beautiful lake country scene. Love the little pop of red from the door!

A strong composition with the framing by the tree and the path leading away. The bit of red works very well.

Thanks Pete, Terry ,Lynn, Michael, Hal & Lennart for comments. The light up there in the lakes is so ever changing, quickly too, it is so difficult to get the camera to record what your eye sees, but so rewarding too.

My kind of place.
Looks like a scene from a movie.
The soft light is a real plus here, Tony.

Lovely colors, so green from the rain. Composition, framing and perspective are very good! V

What an inviting scene, Tony! That red door really sets this image off!

You're getting around the country.
This is a splendid remote valley and the pic has the promise of a good walking day ahead.
The tree framing is good and in keeping with the shady foreground
