Perseid Meteor Shower

Not nearly as impressive as the various web articles said it would be. Will try again tonight with a better foreground subject matter to juxtapose against the starry skies. Hopefully, there will be more dramatic meteors!

The light behind the trees in the lower right of the frame is from the rising moon, which very much washed out the sky when it finally came up all the way.
