Recently, a building burned overnight in our downtown. I captured an image of the aftermath on my cell phone (below). They have now knocked down the walls, and I was struck by the remains and what was revealed.

(Over 100 firemen battled the overnight blaze in this 3 story building. The third floor housed an apartment. The blaze is believed to have started in a couch on the third floor. One person living there was taken to a burn center, but will recover. The second floor collapsed onto the first floor destroying the business. The building is cordoned off because the front wall is in jeopardy.)
