Spotted Towhee

I am certainly no birder, but last week while we had all that snow here I was feeding quite the large contingent of birds... lots of them and a wide variety. I may need some help identifying the various species. I think this one is a spotted towhee and if not, please let me know!

These guys look like the non-hybrid.
Wonder if they are close cousins of the dark-eyed juncos....
Great image and composition...

Lovely shot with the snow around the beautiful little plump bird. It is wonderful that you put out food since the birds in your area must be shocked by the snow.

An excellent shot Jim.
Be warned !!! Photographing birds is addictive !!!

At this rate, you may become a birder yet. Nice shot Jim.

No question about it, Jim. Definitely a spotted towhee.
Really nice pose and love that snow.
