Backlit Gingko at Sunset

Murfreesboro,TN

I found this tree yesterday while shopping with Sherri. This tree is one of the only plants with NO living relative species. Their leaves are also unique and fan shaped. I prayed all evening after finding the tree, since, for once, I didn't have my camera with me yesterday. Gingkos have a characteristic that when their leaves start falling, they ALL fall...often within 24 hours. I am blessed to have returned in time to bring this China native to you...

Very beautiful... the soft tones in the leaves are enhanced
by the back lighting, but not over-stated.

This is a fine addition to your series and is special since you went to so much trouble to bring it to us. I must say, it was worth your effort. The color is uplifting.
