Self Portrait

I shot this today as part of a photo assignment in a forum in which I participate in Facebook, called Photography Tips and Tricks. The assignment was to shoot a head shot, maximize lighting, and draw out the individuals personality. Since I'm no portrait photographer I decided to use myself as the model.

BTW, exciting news from today. As a result of my tiger photo winning the zoo's contest for the calendar cover, our local newspaper, the Everett Herald interviewed me today and will publish the story in about 2-3 weeks. The tiger photo will be on the front page and they'll publish and additional two photos with the article! WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!

When are you going to star in the next Western movie? This is
a wonderful character study, even if it is of yourself. The lighting
is spot on. Your work continues to inspire me to keep learning!

Very nice SP. I like that you chose to include your hand. It adds additional interest to the composition.
Congratulations on your success.
