Nunney Castle

view map

We had a splendid day out yesterday, taking the Steam Train from Bristol down to Weymouth in Dorset. It was pure nostalgia, the noise, the smoke, so many people watching from points along the way. The locomotive was built in the 1930's and restored some years ago. It was an unforgettable experience.

A great day out- I enjoyed the Somerset steam train up to Watchet last year more than I thought I was going to.
