Lock and Dam #7 on the Mississippi River at LaCrosse (taken from Minnesota side of the river.) This Lock and Dam was built between 1934 and 1937 by the Army Corps. of Engineers. This is one of 29 between Minneapolis and St. Louis. They were designed to keep the depth of the main channel from falling below 9 feet.
