Nice shot... I love these reminders of what life was like not too many years ago. It looks like the front siding on top was added sometime after the church was built.

Great to see an old wooden church. Our first churches were also in wood but in the 1300th Century they started to build in stone at the same places and the wooden churches were torn down. They probably looked just like this, only a main room, a so called Hall Church. Very few - mainly from the 1600th Century - are left in Norway. The picture works well in b&w!
