Millie is the older sister of a friend. She was in town (she lives near LA) last year and we met for dinner. The lighting was very harsh and I couldn't use flash, so please forgive the blown highlights.
The good news is that Millie has just celebrated her 99th birthday this July. She was a mere 98 years old in this photo. She is a wonder!!! She's getting ready for the big 100th bash next summer. ...Good health, sharp wit and sharp as a tack...that's Millie!

How many of us are going to be flying across the country at 98 years old? Millie is a firecracker and a great inspiration. Her brother is close to 20 years younger and she calls him "the old man".

Ohhh, the thoughts behind those eyes.
She certainly looks 15 years younger than her age, Cindy.
Really like this portrait of her, and actually like the highlights: they add to the effect by the effect they have on her hair.
